
Pigs in a Blanket Casserole
For breakfast or dinner, this easy to whip up casserole is a hit with everyone.
Ingredients
- 2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough I used the flaky kind
- 16 fully cooked sausage links
- 2 cups shredded cheese I used sharp cheddar
- 5 eggs
- 1 ½ cups half n half you can use milk or some milk and some cream or whatever you have
- a sprinkle of onion powder
- a sprinkle of garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pop open and unroll the 2 cans of crescent rolls and separate them into 16 triangles.
- Place one cooked sausage link on the wide side of each croissant and roll it up. Place them side by side into the baking dish.
- Top the crescent rolls with desired amount of shredded cheese.
- In a bowl combine the 5 eggs, half n half (or whatever you are using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper. Whisk to combine and pour mixture over the crescent rolls and cheese.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the egg mixture is completely set and croissants are golden brown.
